Mountain Sun brewery is turning 13 years old and its sibling, The Southern Sun is 4 years old, which calls for a party.
The fourth Annual Anniversary Benefit Funky Good Times party fits the bill.
There will be music (see the lineup below) and Mountain Sun beers will be on special for $2 a pint all night long.

In celebration of Steamworks Brewing Co.’s 10th Anniversary, the popular Durango brewpub will host the Inaugural Brewers Olympics and Beer Festival on Sat., Sept. 23, 2006.
Participation is limited to the first 17 brewery teams (of two) to register. Entry “fee� is merely one half-barrel (15.5 gal) of a brewery’s finest brew and a tap handle (on loan). Beer from breweries competing in Brewers Olympics will be served to spectators and guests at Steamworks throughout the festivities, with the proceeds from sales benefiting the La Plata County Humane Society.

On Aug. 12, the quaint mountain town of Manitou Springs, will be home to the fourth annual Craft Lager Festival. The festival will feature unlimited sampling, the awards ceremony for exceptional beers, and home grown organic music.
