A forum discussing NBB 2 Below

Submitted by Justinian on December 28, 2006 - 9:57am.

I'm a hophead, not a malthead, so I really enjoyed New Belgium's 2 below seasonal brew.
Here's a link to a discussion on the topic.

Colorado had a dry town?

Submitted by Justinian on December 27, 2006 - 6:54pm.

So Colorado's only dry town decided to join the rest of the state and allow people to sell booze. What took them so long?
Where the Hell is Orchard City anyway?

A very Beery Christmas!

Submitted by Justinian on December 27, 2006 - 9:56am.

Well, I must say I had a very Beery Christmas this year.
I didn't drink much beer, except for a few bottles of my Holiday Homebrew - a brown ale called "Colby's Kettle." It turned out pretty good, although it's only been in the bottle for a little over a week.

Four Great Reasons to Drink Beer in 2007

This came to me via the Brewers Association
Four Great Reasons to Drink Beer in 2007:

A brochure produced by the Brewers of Europe gives the following information about the health benefits of consuming alcohol in moderation for healthy adults. Moderation is considered as no more than two drinks per day for men or one drink per day for women (as defined by the U.S. government).

Micro Out....Craft In.

Submitted by JB Morrissey on November 17, 2006 - 7:46am.

The Brewers Association (BA for short) constantly keeps its finger on the pulse of the brewing industry.

They do a great job.

They want all of us to step into the new world of "craft beer" and leave the old world of "micro brews" behind.

Do NOT Bring Me A Frosty Cold Mug

Submitted by JB Morrissey on November 12, 2006 - 9:06am.

I am constantly amazed how some beer restaurants never seem to have a clue about how to serve beer.

At Old Chicago on Broadway in Englewood, last Friday afternoon, I ordered a chocolate stout from Ft. Collins Brewery. If you've never had one, it is an exceptional beer and at almost 5-dollars a pint, it is a damn expensive beer.

Miller Wants You To Drink Cheap Beer

Submitted by JB Morrissey on November 11, 2006 - 10:16am.

Lewis Grizzard once wrote a book titled "Shoot Low Boys- They're Ridin' Shetland Ponies."

That is exactly what Miller Brewing is doing.

Instead of taking the high (life) road, their latest ad campaign is trying to teach you that CHEAP beer (like theirs) is good beer.
