United Nations of Beer's Colorado Guide is running

So I had never heard of The United Nations of Beer until Google dropped it at my feet a few weeks ago. The site's pretty cool and it looks like their new Colorado Delegate Lucia Novara has been busy hitting the lodo scene.

I think this is unfair ;-) She probably gets free drinks all the time. Now, who's going to buy a married web/beer geek like me drinks? Boo-hoo.

Anyway, check out Lucia's reports from Wynkoop, GABF, and Breckenridge Brewery.

Although I'm a bit puzzled by this line from Lucia's review of the Wynkoop:  "All in all, Wynkoop Brewing in Denver was a very satisfactory venture into the underworld of the city's microbrews."

Did she get the special tour? I have a picture in my head of the Wynkoop bartender feeding Lucia some pomegranate seed beer that makes her come back to the Wynkoop one night a week.

Hey Justinian,

Ashley Cotter-Cairns, Secretary-General of the UN(OB) here.

Why don't you apply for Deputy Delegate status? We can always use more (unsteady) feet on the ground and CO's a big place for one person, even one as dynamic as Lucia...

Cheers!

Ash

Sorry to disappoint Justinian, but I don't get a bunch of free drinks out on the town. I barely get free samples, despite my being an official diplomat. Maybe once I get the little flags attached to the front of my car...

Well, Dick Kreck already has the Mr. Beer license plate. But myabe you could get one that says Mrs. Beer? That would be sweet!
