Littleton's Mill Steakhouse Brewery.....A Review

Talk about a great setting for a brewpub, the Mill Steakhouse Brewery is located in one of the oldest buildings in the historic downtown section of Littleton. a converted mill building that was built 105 years ago for Richard Little (the man who put the Little in Littleton).

Brewmaster Greg Shofner always has 6 of his beers on tap, plus a couple seasonals. Right now, he also has a nice Wheat and a darn good Autumn Ale.

Personally, I like the Ghost Town Brown....a very fine nut brown ale that was the perfect "go along" with the buffalo burger I ate at the bar. I also really enjoyed their Rocky Mountain Red, an amber ale that is much in demand at the Mill.

The menu is well done and varied at the Mill. Of course, steak is their claim to fame, but you will find many other items to please everyone in your group.

The restaurant is actually two rooms, including a cozy back room with a fireplace. There is also a big, roomy, smoke free deck on the front side of the Mill.

There are "chain" brewpubs in Littleton, but if you are looking for Littleton's "hometown" brewpub, it's Mill Steakhouse Brewery, 5798 S. Rapp St.....open 7 days a week at 11am. 303-730-8000
