Louisville-based Rock Bottom Restaurants has hired investment bank Piper Jaffray to help explore options including an initial public offering of stock and raising private equity, according to the Rocky Mountain News.
The 30-year-old company owns and operates 94 restaurants across the United States, including Old Chicago, Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery, ChopHouse & Brewery and Walnut Brewery.
The company was previously public but went private in a 1999 transaction.
